All researchers (from all disciplines) from the HES-SO Geneva, the Graduate Institute and the UNIGE can use the Baobab and Yggdrasil computing clusters free of charge. However, the account application procedure is slightly different depending on the affiliation of the researcher. Please contact us to request an HPC account.

You need an HPC account to access the Baobab and Yggdrasil computing clusters. The same account will allow you to access both clusters. Contact us to request an account.

Since 2025, the use of the Baobab, Yggdrasil, and Bamboo computing clusters has been subject to the pricing outlined in our documentation. However, it is possible to purchase compute nodes to enhance the availability and performance of the clusters.
